As the Salesforce Technical Lead, you'll be expected to work beyond the Salesforce platform, collaborating with team members on various aspects of our integrated systems. You'll use your deep Salesforce expertise and broader technical experience to drive system delivery, introduce innovative solutions, and guide the evolution of our Salesforce architecture and its integrations with other enterprise systems. The successful candidate will combine strong technical leadership with hands-on capabilities, fostering a culture of excellence while actively participating in development activities.


What you will be doing:

  • Lead the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions across the IT organization

  • Design and implement complex Salesforce integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools

  • Ensure Salesforce integrates with the larger enterprise ecosystem in standard patterns and following best practices

  • Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for Salesforce development

  • Lead technical planning sessions and provide expertise in solution design reviews

  • Manage complex Salesforce releases and deployments across environments

  • Develop and maintain integration patterns between Salesforce and other enterprise systems

  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

  • Ensure security and compliance standards are maintained across all Salesforce implementations Lead technical debt reduction initiatives and platform optimization efforts


What you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

  • 8+ years of experience with Salesforce development and architecture

  • Certified Salesforce Developer and/or Architect

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL

  • Extensive experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API) and integration patterns

  • Demonstrated experience with middleware platforms and ETL tools

  • Solid understanding of Git version control and CI/CD practices

  • Experience implementing and maintaining standard security models

  • Strong background in Salesforce governance and release management

  • Experience with financial services industry solutions preferred

  • Proven track record of leading Agile development teams

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Salary/Rate Range: CAD $140,000 - $180,000
