What you will be doing:

• Support daily operations within the Security Operations Center (SOC)

• Conduct security research and development to enhance cyber defense capabilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats

• Perform incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve security posture and solutions

• Develop and implement security tools, processes, and best practices

• Document findings, create reports, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation

What you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  OR
  Minimum of:

  • 3 years of experience in security engineering or security operations

  • 4 years of experience in security incident response

• Active or ability to obtain SECRET level security clearance

• Must hold and maintain:

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from ISC2 OR an approved equivalent certification

  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) OR approved equivalent

  • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) OR approved equivalent

• All substitute certifications must be approved by the SOC Program Manager (PM)
