PARALEGAL, Real Estate (1-2 days WFH)

Base Salary Range: $85000 - $115000

On behalf of our client, one of BC's Top Employers for 2026, TEEMA is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal.

We are currently seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support their busy Real Estate group. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a Canadian law firm, be energetic, flexible, highly motivated and driven to succeed.

Duties of the Position:
• Administer and manage commercial and residential real estate files from beginning to end
• Residential and commercial conveyancing and other support to the real estate group, as required
• Prepare loan and security documentation relating to residential and commercial conveyancing transactions
• Administer title and off-title due diligence searches (including pre and post registration searches),requisitions and reports
• Assist in the drafting of statutory right of ways, covenants and easements
• Review and process purchase and sales contracts, deposits and payouts
• Prepare all documentation relating to trust transactions
• Prepare mortgage discharges
• Prepare and finalize reporting letters
• Coordinate and manage closings
• Liaise with vendors, purchasers, financial institutions, clients, lawyers, realtors and others
• Other related administrative duties, as required

Ideal Candidate will have:
• A paralegal certificate from an accredited institution with experience working in a Canadian law firm
Minimum 3 years of related paralegal experience with residential and commercial real estate transactions
• Advanced technical skills including NetDocs, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe, BC Online and myLTSA
• Excellent written (grammar, spelling, proofreading) and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to providing first-rate level of knowledge and prompt quality service to clients and internal stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen effectively and respond appropriately
• High level organizational skills with a strong attention to detail to produce quality and accurate work
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with lawyers, paralegals and legal assistants
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a contributing member in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks by deadline, work calmly under pressure and manage high volume of work in a fast-paced environment with multiple lawyers
• Solid decision-making and problem-solving skills coupled with a willingness to learn and to adapt to changing demands
• Proven ability to be resourceful, take initiative and be proactive, as well as follow instructions and adhere to strict deadlines
• Positive, professional, can-do attitude

Compensation + Benefits 
The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $115,000 annually+
