Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join a hospital-based imaging team, delivering high-quality diagnostic and specialized CT imaging. In this role, you will perform procedures with precision, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized CT imaging procedures

• Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety

• Assist radiologists during procedures

• Operate and maintain CT equipment while ensuring image quality

• Apply radiation safety principles to minimize exposure

• Process images and documentation as needed

• Support quality assurance and adhere to radiology standards of care

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM or 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM

• Rotating weekends and holidays required

• Salary: $49.92 – $60.32 per hour

• Sign-On Bonus: $30,000

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography or allied health program

• NY State DOH License or Limited Permit required

• ARRT (R) and/or (CT) certification required (or NMTCB CNMT equivalent)

• Advanced CT certification required within 1 year of hire

• BLS certification (AHA) required within 90 days

• Knowledge of CT equipment, radiation physics, and safety practices

• DOH IV certification preferred (or obtained within 6 months)

• Must meet continuing education requirements (24 CE credits every 2 years)

• Commitment to radiation safety initiatives (Image Gently & Image Wisely)

• Flu vaccine required
