Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Finishing Supervisor / Foreman to lead the final stages of our residential projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering a high-quality finished product—from drywall taping through to final occupancy. We are looking for a professional who takes ownership of the finishing phase, understands sequencing at a high level, and consistently delivers clean, deficiency-free turnovers.

What you will be doing:

• Lead all finishing stages from drywall taping to final occupancy and homeowner turnover

• Coordinate and manage all finishing trades including drywall, paint, carpentry, flooring, cabinetry, and final fixtures

• Maintain strict quality control standards across all units and common areas

• Proactively identify and drive resolution of deficiencies prior to possession

• Ensure projects are completed on schedule without compromising quality

• Maintain organized, safe, and professional job sites

• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and trades to ensure alignment and execution

• Support inspections, walkthroughs, and final sign-offs

What you must have:

• Proven track record managing finishing from taping through to occupancy (required)

• 7+ years in a Finishing Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Senior Construction Supervisor role

• Strong understanding of finishing trade sequencing, timelines, and quality expectations

• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain schedule integrity under pressure

• High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering a polished final product

• Professional communication and leadership on-site

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

• Valid driver’s license

Nice to have:

• Multi-family residential or large-scale wood-frame construction

• Experience delivering projects with tight turnover schedules

• Familiarity with Edmonton inspections, occupancy requirements, and local standards

Salary/Rate Range: 35/hr-42/hr.
