Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Finishing Supervisor / Foreman to lead the final stages of our residential projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering a high-quality finished product—from drywall taping through to final occupancy. We are looking for a professional who takes ownership of the finishing phase, understands sequencing at a high level, and consistently delivers clean, deficiency-free turnovers.
What you will be doing:

Lead all finishing stages from drywall taping to final occupancy and homeowner turnover

Coordinate and manage all finishing trades including drywall, paint, carpentry, flooring, cabinetry, and final fixtures

Maintain strict quality control standards across all units and common areas

Proactively identify and drive resolution of deficiencies prior to possession

Ensure projects are completed on schedule without compromising quality

Maintain organized, safe, and professional job sites

Work closely with project managers, site teams, and trades to ensure alignment and execution

Support inspections, walkthroughs, and final sign-offs
What you must have:
-
Proven track record managing finishing from taping through to occupancy (required)

7+ years in a Finishing Foreman, Site Supervisor, or Senior Construction Supervisor role

Strong understanding of finishing trade sequencing, timelines, and quality expectations

Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain schedule integrity under pressure

High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering a polished final product

Professional communication and leadership on-site

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

Valid driver’s license
Nice to have:

Multi-family residential or large-scale wood-frame construction

Experience delivering projects with tight turnover schedules

Familiarity with Edmonton inspections, occupancy requirements, and local standards
Salary/Rate Range: 35/hr-42/hr.
