Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Auto & General Liability Claims Examiner II to join their team. This is a fully remote opportunity offering stability, autonomy, and the ability to handle complex claims in a professional environment.

Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and resolving Commercial Auto, No-Fault/PIP, and General Liability claims from initial review through final disposition. You will play a critical role in evaluating exposure, guiding strategy, and ensuring high-quality outcomes for all stakeholders. 

This position requires strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to manage claims independently while collaborating with legal counsel and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret policy coverage to determine liability and exposure

• Investigate, evaluate, and manage Commercial Auto, PIP, and General Liability claims

• Direct and coordinate with outside investigators, legal counsel, and vendors

• Maintain accurate claim documentation and ongoing file diaries

• Evaluate claims exposure and establish appropriate reserves

• Develop and communicate settlement strategies and recommendations

• Prepare detailed loss reports covering liability, damages, and coverage

• Identify and pursue subrogation and risk transfer opportunities when applicable

• Provide high-level service and communication to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of experience handling Commercial Auto and General Liability claims

• Strong understanding of claims handling practices, coverage analysis, and litigation management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to evaluate claims, make decisions, and negotiate effectively

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency with claims systems and general computer applications

Preferred:

• Experience with No-Fault/PIP claims

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional claims handling

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
