Sterile Processing Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Sterile Processing Manager to lead critical sterilization and instrument processing operations within a dynamic healthcare environment. What You Will Do

  • Oversee the decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and storage of medical and surgical instruments in accordance with established protocols
  • Ensure all instruments, trays, and equipment are accurately assembled and ready to support surgical and procedural teams
  • Coordinate and distribute sterile supplies across departments to meet patient care needs
  • Lead and support case cart preparation, ensuring alignment with physician preference cards and procedural requirements
  • Monitor and document sterilization quality indicators (biological, chemical, and mechanical) to maintain compliance and safety standards
  • Maintain inventory levels, receive supplies, and ensure efficient stock management within sterile processing and surgical areas
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Champion infection control practices and adherence to PPE and safety protocols
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance
  • Ensure alignment with all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
  • Foster a collaborative environment through strong communication and teamwork across clinical departments

What You Bring

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Completion of a Sterile Processing Program preferred

Certifications

  • Sterile Processing Certification preferred

Experience

  • Previous sterile processing experience preferred
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is a strong plus
