What You’ll Do

As an MLS, you will play a critical role in the diagnostic process across multiple laboratory disciplines, including:

  • Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Serology, Urinalysis, and more
  • Perform, analyze, and interpret complex laboratory tests with a high level of accuracy
  • Validate and correlate test results, ensuring clinical reliability
  • Evaluate specimen integrity and request recollection when needed
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to support patient diagnosis and treatment
  • Mentor and guide students, interns, and team members

What You Bring

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Science program
  • MLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification required
  • At least 1 year of clinical/hospital lab experience preferred
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
