Overview:
We are looking for an Estate Planning Attorney who wants to do more than draft documents behind the scenes. This is a front-facing, production-oriented role for an attorney who enjoys working directly with clients, thrives in a collaborative planning environment, and is motivated by the opportunity to earn at a significantly higher level. As our Estate Planning Attorney, you will be a key driver of the firm’s growth. You’ll present at educational dinner seminars, meet with prospective clients, design estate strategies, and help implement comprehensive plans that integrate legal, financial, and tax considerations. This role is ideal for an attorney who:

What you will be doing:

Present estate planning topics at dinner seminars (minimum one per week; firm currently runs three weekly and expanding)

Meet with prospects and clients to assess needs and recommend planning strategies

Draft and close trust engagements and related estate planning work

Collaborate with financial advisors on comprehensive retirement, tax, and estate strategies

Build long-term client relationships that generate referrals and ongoing planning opportunities. Whether you close business independently or work alongside a lead advisor, both paths are supported and valued.
What you must have:

Active New Jersey Bar license
-
Strong estate planning experience (trusts, wills, asset protection, wealth transfer)

Meaningful public speaking or presentation experience

Comfort in a client-facing, production-oriented environment

Ability to work evenings consistently (seminars and client meetings)
Nice to have:

10+ years of estate planning experience
-
Proven ability to close business independently
-
Familiarity with retirement income planning and how estate strategy integrates

Existing Series 65 or life insurance license (not required)
Other Information:

Schedule & Location

This is a full-time, in-office position with consistent evening work. Candidates must be fully comfortable with a schedule that regularly extends past 5PM due to seminars and client meetings.

Staten Island (case-by-case)
Not suitable: New York City or farther distances due to late-evening travel
