What you will be doing:

Assemble and modify mockups and models from specific instructions or under the technical supervision of more experienced technicians or technical staff

Perform assembly, modification, and verification of equipment test benches.

Conduct testing, alignment, and calibration of intermediate complexity production units and systems.

Record data related to test or experiment results. Prepare reports and may make recommendations related to assigned tasks.

Monitor and test units in thermal chambers or vacuum chambers.

Follow and understand flight test processes.

Perform work in accordance with internal procedures and health and safety regulations.

Able to locate documents and parts using the company electronic tools such as WebPLM, InforLN, etc.

Perform other related duties as required.
Assignment Specific Tasks: Must be capable of performing Level 7 tasks, and under supervision from engineering staff or more experienced technicians when required, complete the following tasks depending on assignment:
Flying Probe

Perform basic operational testing on Flying Probe equipment.

Carry out light maintenance tasks on equipment such as cleaning and cable checks.

Assist in preparing equipment for testing and measurements.
-
Document test and measurement results in data management systems.
-
Configure and calibrate flying probe equipment for testing and measurements.

Analyze test and measurement results to identify potential issues.

Perform minor repairs on Flying Probe equipment.

Update technical documents and test procedures.

Generate test programs from CAD data, project bill of materials, and schematics using the test machine software.
What you must have:

College diploma (DEC) or equivalent in mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field depending on assignment.

2 to 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge depending on assignment.

Comfortable communicating in spoken and written French. English is considered an asset due to contact with clients outside Quebec.

Successful candidates must obtain and maintain a Level II (SECRET) security clearance and pass the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) security assessment.
Salary/Rate Range: $63,000.00 - $86,000.00
