What you will be doing:

Conduct comprehensive physical examinations in a timely and efficient manner to support operational needs

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions

Manage chronic care clinics and ensure appropriate follow-up care for patients with ongoing medical needs

Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and lab results

Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols

Document all patient encounters accurately and thoroughly within the electronic medical record system

Collaborate closely with nursing staff, mental health professionals, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical situations

Maintain compliance with facility policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements

Deliver patient-centered care with professionalism, compassion, and strong clinical judgment
What you must have:

Active Nurse Practitioner license in WI
-
Minimum of 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred

Experience in correctional healthcare, primary care, urgent care, or internal medicine preferred

Strong assessment, time management, and organizational skills
-
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
Other Information:
Schedule Options

Four 10-hour shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday OR

Five 8-hour shifts: Monday–Friday
