Overview:
Performs maintenance, manufacturing, fabrication, modification, and repair of aircraft structures and components per FAA, OEM, and standards. Works independently on intermediate tasks with minimal supervision, including field and fixed-base operations.
What you will be doing:

Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures, structural components, flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components of intermediate to complex difficulty.

Perform sheet metal fabrication, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and assembly using pneumatic tools and close tolerance dimensions.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, engineering dispositions, and structural repair manuals to develop repairs.

Install Hi-Lok fasteners and perform riveting, drilling, bend reduction, and rivet pattern work.

Troubleshoot discrepancies during normal operations and Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations.

Document work in logs, records, and systems; maintain clean, safe work areas per company procedures.

Provide technical guidance to Level I technicians and comply with FAA regulations, Repair Station Quality Manual, and Erickson's Values Charter.

Achieve and maintain qualifications for assigned tasks; participate in professional development like Erickson's "Building Tomorrow Today" training program.
What you must have:

4-9 years experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or fabrication (Level II requirement).

High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license.

Proficiency reading blueprints, performing drilling/riveting, and fabrication (required for Level II).

Knowledge of FAA regulations, aviation safety directives, and use of hand/special tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, sheet metal brakes/shears).

Ability to work in team/field environments with strong problem-solving, detail orientation, and professionalism.
Nice to have:
-
A&P certification.

Experience with aircraft or similar (e.g., OV-10 Bronco, helicopters).

Hi-Lok fasteners installation; borescope inspections; engine/component troubleshooting.
