Overview:
We are partnered with an industry leading technology manufacturing company and one of Canada’s Best Workplaces in a search for a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis.


What you will be doing:

• Financial Planning & Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead the annual Global budgeting process, partnering with department managers to build robust, challenge-driven financial plans

  • Own and evolve the monthly forecasts, integrating operational and market drivers

  • Support long-range planning and multi-year financial modelling to align with corporate vision

• Performance Analysis and Insight:

  • Deliver budget to actual reporting, providing commentary on key performance drivers and underlying trends 

• • Develop and monitor comprehensive financial and operational models, identifying risks and opportunities

  • Curate monthly and quarterly reporting packages for the Leadership teams, focusing on clarity, accuracy, and strategic storytelling

• Business Partnering:

  • Act as a bridge between Finance, Global and Regional Management teams, providing the financial ‘lens’ for operational and strategic decision making

  • Develop business cases for new initiatives, product launches, and regional expansions

• Process Innovation & Leadership:

  • Modernize the FP&A tools and methodologies by leveraging AI and automation to streamline complex data workflows, eliminating manual intervention and ensuring gold-standard accuracy in financial reporting

  • Supervise and develop FP&A staff, fostering a culture of high performance, technical excellence, and professional growth

What you must have:

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation

• Proven ability to move beyond the numbers to understand the ‘why’ behind business performance

• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders

• A self-motivated approach with a relentless focus on accuracy, detail, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced Global environment

• Experience with a Tier 1 ERP system; Oracle Netsuite is a considerable asset

• Experience with financial planning tools at a key user or administrator level. Adaptive experience is an asset

• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) experience is an asset

Salary/Rate Range: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00
