What you will be doing:

  • Provide senior-level business analysis support across laboratory and digital health initiatives

  • Lead current-state and future-state process analysis and workflow assessments

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and requirements gathering activities

  • Develop and document business requirements, process maps, use cases, and business rules

  • Translate operational and clinical needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical and project teams

  • Support solution evaluation, options analysis, and decision-making processes

  • Establish and define the role of Business Analysts within the laboratory portfolio

  • Develop BA standards, templates, methodologies, and best practices tailored to the needs of the laboratory environment

  • Create frameworks for prioritizing, organizing, and managing BA work across multiple initiatives

  • Assist laboratory leadership in identifying and planning BA resource needs and work assignments

  • Introduce processes and governance structures to improve consistency and effectiveness of business analysis activities

  • Mentor, coach, and support newly hired Business Analysts as they onboard into the team

  • Provide guidance on stakeholder engagement, requirements management, facilitation techniques, and BA best practices

  • Support knowledge transfer and capability development to strengthen the long-term effectiveness of the BA function

  • Collaborate with project managers, operational leaders, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and solution delivery

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the laboratory portfolio


What you must have:

  • 8+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably within healthcare or laboratory environments

  • Demonstrated experience establishing or maturing Business Analysis practices, frameworks, or Centers of Excellence

  • Experience defining BA roles, responsibilities, and governance models within organizations

  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and requirements elicitation skills

  • Experience leading process improvement and business transformation initiatives

  • Ability to organize and coordinate work across multiple projects and priorities

  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading junior and intermediate Business Analysts

  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices

  • Experience working with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders

  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and leadership skills

  • Ability to bring structure, clarity, and strategic direction to complex environments

  • Experience within laboratory services, healthcare technology, or digital health programs would be considered a strong asset
