Overview:
A leading national law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join its established employment law practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated employment matters in a collaborative and high-performing environment.


What you will be doing:

• Represent employers in a variety of employment litigation matters.

• Handle single-plaintiff employment disputes, class actions, and representative actions.

• Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.

• Advise clients on federal and California employment laws and regulations.

• Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies and deliver exceptional client service.

What you must have:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Minimum of 4 years of employment litigation experience.

• Active membership in, or pending admission to, the California State Bar.

• Strong knowledge of federal and California employment laws and regulations.

• Experience handling employment defense matters.

• Class action and PAGA experience preferred, but not required.

• Experience from a large established defense firm or a boutique firm handling sophisticated employment defense work is highly desirable.

• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Salary/Rate Range: $255,000 to $330,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
