Overview:
A leading national law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join its established employment law practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of sophisticated employment matters in a collaborative and high-performing environment.
What you will be doing:

Represent employers in a variety of employment litigation matters.

Handle single-plaintiff employment disputes, class actions, and representative actions.

Manage cases through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.

Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents.

Advise clients on federal and California employment laws and regulations.

Collaborate closely with partners and clients to develop litigation strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
What you must have:
-
J.D. from an accredited law school.

Minimum of 4 years of employment litigation experience.
-
Active membership in, or pending admission to, the California State Bar.

Strong knowledge of federal and California employment laws and regulations.

Experience handling employment defense matters.

Class action and PAGA experience preferred, but not required.

Experience from a large established defense firm or a boutique firm handling sophisticated employment defense work is highly desirable.

Excellent legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Salary/Rate Range: $255,000 to $330,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
