Overview:
Our client is a trusted design-builder operating across Canada for over 30 years, specializing in food processing, CNG/LNG conversion, cold storage, distribution facilities, and institutional works. They offer end-to-end construction delivery methods, customized to the unique needs of each client, executing on everything from small renovations and industrial tenant improvements to full-scale Greenfield construction. Our client is seeking an experienced and highly capable Project Manager to join their growing construction team, specializing in cold storage and food processing facilities. This role is suited for a confident, detail-oriented professional who can lead complex projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule excellence. As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project delivery, working closely with site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and clients. You will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, and financial performance of assigned projects. This is a key leadership role within a highly technical and fast-paced construction environment.

What you will be doing:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for cold storage and food processing construction projects

• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting

• Manage subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure alignment with project goals

• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, food-grade requirements, and regulatory compliance

• Drive project execution to meet or exceed timelines, budget, and quality expectations

• Coordinate RFIs, change orders, and contract administration

• Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

• Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact project delivery

What you must have:

• 7+ years of progressive construction project management experience

• Strong background in industrial, cold storage, food processing, or similar environments

• Proven ability to manage large, complex, and fast-moving projects

• Deep understanding of construction sequencing, mechanical systems, and building envelopes in temperature-controlled environments

• Strong financial and contract management skills

• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities

• Highly organized, accountable, and solution-focused

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
