Application System Analyst II (Remote)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application System Analyst II to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role serves as the primary liaison between end users, operational leaders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise healthcare applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Epic applications, healthcare information systems, and application support. This individual will analyze business requirements, evaluate workflows, and deliver technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience. Success in this role requires excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, configure, test, implement, and maintain assigned healthcare applications.

  • Optimize application functionality and business processes to support operational and technical objectives.

  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide Tier II support in collaboration with the Service Desk and technical teams.

  • Gather and analyze business requirements, workflows, and system enhancement requests.

  • Develop and maintain documentation, testing plans, training materials, and system procedures.

  • Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and ongoing optimization projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver effective technology solutions.

  • Provide project coordination and oversight for assigned initiatives while ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

  • Recommend innovative, practical solutions that improve system performance and user satisfaction.

  • Ensure application changes are thoroughly tested and successfully implemented with minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise applications or information systems.

  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare, business systems, or information technology.

  • Strong experience supporting Epic applications is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.

  • Experience with application implementation, optimization, troubleshooting, testing, and end-user support.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required (proof of education required).
