What you will be doing:

Audit employee files and HR documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

Collect, review, and process employee resignations and separation documentation.

Ensure required employee records are properly completed, organized, and uploaded into applicable HR systems.

Respond to employee questions regarding payroll, final pay, separation processes, and other HR-related matters.

Provide professional and compassionate HR support to employees during the site closure.

Help ensure that all separation and closure-related documentation is completed accurately and on schedule.

Maintain employee confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Partner with internal HR representatives and site leadership to support an orderly and compliant closure process.

Identify missing documentation, follow up with the appropriate parties, and help resolve administrative issues.

Provide additional general HR support related to the site closure as required.
What you must have:
-
Previous experience as an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or in a similar hands-on HR position.

Experience managing employee records, HR documentation, compliance activities, and confidential information.

Knowledge of employee separation processes and related HR administration.

Experience responding to employee questions and providing direct employee support.

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and meet deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Professional judgment and the ability to communicate with empathy during sensitive employee situations.

Proficiency with HR information systems, document management systems, and standard Microsoft Office applications.
