What you will be doing:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of compensation, benefits, pension, and recognition programs.

  • Provide strategic advice to the Executive Team, Board Committees, and People & Culture leadership on total rewards matters.

  • Lead annual compensation planning, market benchmarking, and job evaluation processes.

  • Develop and communicate total rewards programs that enhance employee engagement and understanding.

Leadership & Business Partnership 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader on compensation, benefits, HR systems, and workforce analytics.

  • Lead organizational costing analyses related to compensation, legislative changes, and business initiatives.

  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and customer-focused team culture.

  • Champion change management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Benefits, HRIS, Data Analytics, Vendor Management & Process Optimization

  • Lead the strategy, governance, administration, and continuous improvement of benefits, pension, payroll, HRIS, workforce analytics, and related people programs to support business objectives and employee experience.

  • Lead the successful transition to a new benefits provider within five months, ensuring effective project management, stakeholder engagement, change management, employee communications, and seamless implementation.

  • Develop and execute the HRIS strategy and roadmap, ensuring systems, processes, integrations, and reporting capabilities align with business requirements, compliance obligations, industry best practices, and organizational growth.

  • Oversee HRIS governance, data integrity, security, system configuration, upgrades, vendor management, reporting, and audit readiness to maximize system effectiveness and mitigate risk

  • Establish HRIS best practices, standards, and operating procedures to improve user experience, data quality, process consistency, and operational efficiency.

  • Manage relationships with brokers, consultants, insurers, technology providers, and third-party vendors, establishing service expectations, monitoring performance, and ensuring contractual commitments and service level agreements are achieved.

  • Lead vendor selection, procurement, contract negotiations, renewals, and performance reviews to optimize service delivery, manage costs, and mitigate organizational risk.

  • Monitor market trends, utilization data, workforce metrics, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for program enhancements, cost optimization, and improved business outcomes.

  • Drive process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across People & Culture operations, leveraging technology, workflow redesign, and best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, accuracy, and service delivery.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service standards, and operational metrics to evaluate program effectiveness, system performance, vendor outcomes, and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Provide strategic workforce, compensation, and financial analysis to support organizational planning, legislative changes, compensation programs, and business initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, employees, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring proactive communication, timely decision-making, issue resolution, and successful execution of key initiatives.

  • Manage multiple priorities, projects, risks, and dependencies simultaneously, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Champion a culture of innovation, accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement through the effective use of technology, analytics, and stakeholder feedback.

Talent Development & Team Leadership 

  • Lead, coach, and develop direct and indirect reports.

  • Establish clear performance expectations and support ongoing professional development.

  • Build team capability to deliver exceptional service and operational excellence.

  • Conduct performance reviews and succession planning activities.


What you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS leadership.

  • Proven experience leading benefits program design, vendor management, and implementation projects.

  • Experience managing large-scale system, process improvement, or transformation initiatives.

  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional leadership, influencing, and communication abilities.

  • Knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, HR systems, and applicable legislation.

  • Demonstrated success driving process optimization and operational excellence.


Salary/Rate Range: $145,000.00 - $160,000.00
