What you will be doing:

• Infrastructure Assessment: Perform a complete inventory and analysis of the existing Linux environment.

• Analysis: Evaluate current servers, applications, dependencies, and services (including Apache Tomcat versions and OpenLDAP/PostgreSQL dependencies).

• Strategy & Roadmap: Identify technical challenges, risks, and prerequisites; develop a migration roadmap and strategy towards a Hybrid Azure environment.

• Architecture: Define target architectures and best practices for the migration.

• Documentation: Produce detailed documentation of current infrastructure, procedures, configurations, and recommendations.

• Support & Execution: Accompany internal teams through project phases, assist in execution, and provide expert-level technical support during migration and transition activities.

What you must have:

• Experience: 10 years of total IT experience; 7 years of experience as a Linux administrator or expert (some flexibility for candidates close to the 7-year mark).

• Migration Expertise: Concrete experience migrating infrastructure to the Cloud.

• Technical Skills: Strong technical background supporting Linux environments (e.g., Apache Tomcat, OpenLDAP, SQL).

• Documentation: Excellent skills in producing technical documentation.

• Language: Must be fluent in French (5/5).

Other Information:

• Duration: 3 to 6 months (Targeting completion by December 18, 2026).

• Schedule: Part-time (~20 hours per week, 2–3 days per week; possibility of full-time).

• Location: Montréal (Downtown).

• Work Mode: Hybrid (1 day on-site per week, specifically Wednesdays).
