Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to individuals with developmental and complex care needs. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate clients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, provide staff education, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maximize client independence, functional abilities, and quality of life.
What you will be doing:

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and home-based programs to ensure effectiveness and positive client outcomes.

Participate in interdisciplinary, client-centered meetings and provide professional recommendations regarding treatment and care plans.

Deliver skills-based competency training and education to staff.

Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation within the electronic health record.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members, both verbally and in writing.

Practice in accordance with all applicable Texas laws, regulations, and professional standards governing occupational therapy.

Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and applicable state and regulatory requirements.
What you must have:
-
Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the State of Texas.

License must remain active and in good standing throughout the assignment.

Must be in good standing with the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.

Maintain all continuing education requirements necessary for licensure.

Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience
-
Sensory integration assessment and treatment planning.

School-based occupational therapy and collaboration with educational staff.

Outpatient occupational therapy experience.
Additional Requirements
-
Must meet all required immunization requirements.
-
Must successfully complete required drug screening.
-
Must successfully complete required fingerprinting and background screening.

Must complete all required orientation and training prior to providing services.
Other Information:
Schedule
-
Full-time, Monday through Friday
-
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Some scheduling flexibility may be required to accommodate client assessments.
