What you will be doing:

• Perform final technical and quality-control reviews of audited financial statements before issuance

• Review financial statements, disclosures, workpapers, risk assessments, documentation, and audit conclusions

• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, professional standards, firm methodology, and regulatory requirements

• Identify technical accounting, reporting, documentation, and audit-quality issues before reports are released

• Provide guidance to Audit Partners, Senior Managers, Managers, and engagement teams on complex accounting and audit matters

• Support the firm’s system of quality management, inspection readiness, and peer-review processes

• Help improve audit methodology, templates, documentation standards, and internal review procedures

• Develop and deliver technical accounting and audit training

• Support the adoption of automation and AI tools within the audit practice

• Help create greater consistency and quality across approximately 400 annual audits

• Serve as a senior internal resource with limited traditional business-development or client-service responsibility

'What you must have:

• Active CPA license required

• Approximately 8–20 years of external public accounting audit experience

• Current Senior Manager or experienced Manager ready to operate at Senior Manager level

• Strong U.S. GAAP and financial-statement review capabilities

• Deep understanding of private-company audits and professional audit standards

• Experience reviewing complete financial statements, disclosures, workpapers, and audit documentation

• Experience at a Big Four, Top 10, Top 25, Top 100, or respected regional public accounting firm

• Able to challenge engagement teams and Audit Partners when the work does not meet technical or quality standards

• Strong written communication, judgment, accuracy, and attention to detail

• Stable career history and genuine interest in a long-term home
