Commercial Litigation AA Clerk/Jr LAA
On befalf of our client, one of BC’s Top Employers for 2026, TEEMA is seeking a professional, driven and energetic Administrative Clerk/Legal Administrative Assistant to join our client's Commercial Litigation group. This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career in legal and work with a vibrant and team-oriented group of people. The successful candidate will ideally have 1+ years of experience working in a corporate environment. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills, who thrives in a fast-paced and rewarding team environment.

Responsibilities:
• Organization of documents in binders
• Prepare open matter reports and request/gather all necessary client documentation
• Prepare closed file reports, strip files, organize file materials
• Assist with organizing meetings and scheduling appointments
• Print / copy / scan / save documents in document management system
• Prepare expense reports
• Assist with accounting, billing and payment tasks
• Provide desk coverage for Legal Administrative Assistants, overflow assistance, and other general administrative duties as required

Must Haves:
• 1+ years of experience in a clerical or administrative capacity in a corporate environment
• Completion, or in the process of, of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology considered an asset
• Good technical skills including Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel
• Commitment to providing first-rate and prompt quality service
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the firm, its clients and any related matters
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to listen effectively and respond appropriately
• Ability to develop and build strong relationships and rapport with clients, lawyers, and legal assistants
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail to produce high quality and accurate work
• Solid work ethic and team player
• A willingness to learn and to adapt to changing demands
• Ability to prioritize tasks by deadline, work calmly under pressure and manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment
• Proven ability to take initiative as well as follow instructions
• A polished and professional image and demeanor with a positive can-do attitude

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $56,000 - $60,000 annually + RRSP + 3 weeks holiday + 12 personal days
