You will:
lead and mature the enterprise cybersecurity program while ensuring security enables business objectives rather than impedes them. This role provides executive leadership across cybersecurity strategy, governance, operations, risk management and regulatory engagement while building organizational capability to address emerging cyber threats. The successful candidate will regularly engage executive leadership and the Board of Directors, translating complex cyber risks into clear business impacts and strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mature the enterprise cybersecurity strategy, operating model and governance.
  • Oversee cybersecurity operations, risk management, compliance and executive reporting.
  • Present cybersecurity strategy, risk posture and investment recommendations to executive leadership and the Board.
  • Build organizational capability by developing the cybersecurity team, supporting leadership development and preparing the function for emerging technologies and AI-driven threats.
  • Partner closely with Enterprise Technology, Corporate Risk, Audit, regulators and external partners to ensure cybersecurity aligns with business priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement across cybersecurity processes, governance and operating effectiveness.
  • Ensure security supports innovation by enabling business initiatives through secure-by-design principles rather than creating unnecessary barriers.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced cybersecurity executive with demonstrated success leading and maturing enterprise cybersecurity programs within large, complex organizations. They will possess broad experience across cybersecurity strategy, governance, operations, risk management and executive leadership rather than specializing in a single technical domain.

Importance is placed on executive communication, organizational leadership and the ability to influence business decisions. Candidates should have experience leading teams through organizational change, developing future-ready cybersecurity capabilities and successfully partnering with executive stakeholders across the enterprise.
