Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to provide strategic and technical architecture leadership on a complex digital transformation initiative within the public sector. You will help design and guide modern, integrated digital services that improve how citizens access support programs. The work involves solution architecture, interoperability design, and collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups in a complex delivery environment. This is a senior architecture role within a small, high-performing team.

What you will be doing:

• Lead enterprise, business, application, and solution architecture activities

• Design architecture for life-event related digital services and foundational platform capabilities

• Develop architecture artifacts, design documentation, roadmaps, and recommendations

• Support alignment with enterprise architecture standards and organizational direction

• Participate in architecture governance forums and executive discussions

• Identify opportunities for modernization, reuse, and scalability

• Support cross-organizational collaboration and technical decision-making

• Produce architecture assessments, integration designs, and decision records

What you must have:

• 10+ years of recent experience in enterprise, solution, or application architecture

• 5+ years supporting large-scale digital service transformation initiatives

• Strong experience designing interoperability and integration solutions across multiple systems

• Experience working in complex public sector environments

Nice to have:

• Experience with identity and authentication architecture

• Background delivering solutions with complex business, process, and policy requirements

• Experience with multi-system integrations (internal and external)

• Familiarity with public sector enterprise architecture standards and practices

• Experience in digital citizen services or human supports / social services domains

Salary/Rate Range: $115.00 - $120.00/hr


Other Information:

• Term: Approximately 12 months, with potential for extension

• Location: Primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings in the Victoria area

• Model: Contract role as part of a small cross-functional delivery team
