What you will be doing:

• Help deploy, operate, and maintain backend and platform services onAWS.

• Support Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) clusters and containerizedworkloads.

• Build and maintain automation with Ansible, scripting, and Infrastructureas Code.

• Develop and maintain Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) services andinternal tooling.

• Monitor system health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.

• Manage MongoDB databases — backups, restores, and basic performance tuning.

• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

• Use AI assistants and agents (e.g., for coding, scripting, log analysis,documentation, and routine ops) to increase your speed and quality —and help the team find good, safe ways to apply them.

• Write clear technical documentation and operational runbooks.

• Collaborate with developers to improve reliability and deploymentpractices.

• Participate in on-call rotations after training.

What you must have:
Education

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science,Engineering, IT, or a related field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience across backend development, systems/IT administration, or DevOps (co-op and internship experience counts).

• Solid programming/scripting ability, ideally Node.js(JavaScript/TypeScript);  comfort in at least one language.

• Working knowledge of Linux administration.

• Experience with Git and version control.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and general web/network fundamentals.

• Comfort using AI tools (coding assistants, chat-based agents) in dailywork — or clear enthusiasm to adopt them — along with the judgment to use them responsibly and verify their output.

Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and agenuine drive to learn.

Salary/Rate Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
