What you will be doing:

• Architecture Design: Develop architecture for telecommunications networks, including Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and wireless (Wi-Fi) to ensure optimal connectivity and reliability.

• Technology Selection: Evaluate and select telecommunications technologies and equipment, ensuring alignment with industry standards and future technological trends.

• Infrastructure Integration: Supervise the integration of telecommunication systems with IT infrastructures, including servers, applications, and cloud services to ensure interoperability and performance.

• Network Optimization: Implement monitoring strategies and tools to ensure network efficiency, proper Quality of Service (QoS), and high availability.

• Security Implementation: Design and implement network security measures against internal and external threats, including configuration of firewalls, VPNs, and other security devices.

• Consultation & Support: Provide technical support and advice to project management teams and other departments, staying current with the latest telecommunications trends.

What you must have:

• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Deployment Knowledge: Deep understanding of deployment methods for telecommunications components (cellular, telephony, Wi-Fi, wired network access, firewalls, load balancers).

• Testing Expertise: Proficiency with network testing techniques, environments, and tools (routing, load balancing, firewalls, failover).

• Networking Protocols: Strong knowledge of network protocols: OSI model, OSPF routing, TCP/IP, Spanning-Tree, LACP, 802.1x, 802.1Q, and diagnostic tools (network analyzers/sniffers).
