Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Employee Health Center

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join an onsite employee health center serving an adult patient population. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional customer service, professionalism, strong clinical skills, and the ability to provide a positive patient experience in a busy healthcare environment.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting and a combination of administrative and hands-on clinical responsibilities.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday

  • 8:30 AM–4:30 PM

  • No holidays

  • Onsite position

  • Adult patient population only

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Patient Support

  • Organize, coordinate, and schedule patient appointments

  • Perform patient registration and check-in functions

  • Provide professional and courteous phone triage

  • Coordinate patient referrals and follow-up

  • Manage incoming and outgoing faxes and related documentation

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient information

  • Deliver first-rate customer service to patients, providers, and team members

  • Assist with additional front office and clinical responsibilities as needed

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Perform phlebotomy and blood draws

  • Administer and schedule immunizations

  • Perform point-of-care testing (POCT)

  • Obtain, assess, and accurately document vital signs

  • Support providers with patient care and clinical workflow

  • Follow established infection control, safety, and patient care protocols

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical/healthcare setting required

  • Demonstrated clinical experience with:

    • Phlebotomy

    • Immunization administration

    • Point-of-care testing

    • Vital sign assessment and documentation

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Professional, dependable, and patient-focused

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Epic EMR experience preferred
