What you will be doing:

Lead and schedule the QA team, and coach people to a consistent standard.

Act as the main contact between the client and the technology team, and triage issues by priority and urgency.

Create and maintain QA policies, standards, and procedures, and make sure the team follows them.

Review design specifications and turn them into test plans, test data, and scripts.

Build automated tests for system testing, end-to-end, and regression, and keep a solid set of manual tests where automation is not the right fit.

Run testing in Azure DevOps Test Plans, and report on QA velocity, defects, and triage.

Support the business through user acceptance testing, including scripts and training material.

Test web APIs (REST and/or SOAP) and check results for accuracy, reliability, and accessibility.

Work with the product manager, architects, developers, business analysts, other QA analysts, and UX.
What you must have:

At least five years in QA, including time as a lead.

A track record of writing QA best practices, policies, and procedures and getting a team to use them.

Strong automated testing with Playwright in C# / .NET Core and NUnit, running in Azure Pipelines.

Solid manual testing: test data, result checks, reproducing errors, and scripts written from a specification.

Experience across the testing lifecycle, including judging how serious an issue is so it can be prioritized.

Azure DevOps Test Plans, used to manage plans, cases, runs, and defects.

Reporting and dashboards for QA velocity and defect triage.

Working knowledge of REST and/or SOAP, and of JSON and/or XML.

Clear communication with developers, project managers, and the business.

Experience supporting a business team on user acceptance testing.
Salary/Rate: $95.00/hr
