The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine diagnostics, particularly electronic engine controls, electrical systems, fuel systems, and emissions after-treatment technology.

Experience with diesel engine diagnostics is essential. Previous compressor experience is an asset, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, and emergency breakdown service.

  • Troubleshoot electronic engine controls, sensors, and after-treatment systems.

  • Communicate technical findings and recommended repairs clearly to customers.

  • Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance and additional service work.

  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

  • Work independently while maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and customer service.

What We're Looking For

  • Ideally 5+ years of hands-on diesel engine diagnostics and repair experience; candidates with less experience and strong technical capabilities will be considered.

  • Previous field service experience servicing and repairing diesel-powered equipment.

  • Experience with one or more major diesel engine manufacturers, such as Caterpillar, Cummins, John Deere, Perkins, Isuzu, or similar OEMs.

  • Strong knowledge of diesel fuel systems, electrical systems, electronic engine controls, and after-treatment technology.

  • Experience using OEM diagnostic software and interpreting electronic engine fault codes.

  • Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.

  • Ability to work independently and manage daily field service responsibilities.

  • Valid driver's licence.

Experience servicing diesel generators, construction equipment, mobile power equipment, or compressors would be particularly relevant.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly compensation of $44.27-$55.35 USD, based on experience and qualifications.

  • Overtime opportunities, paid at applicable overtime rates.

  • Company-provided service truck.

  • Company-provided diagnostic software, equipment, and computer.

  • Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance.

  • Paid time off and 401(k) retirement benefits.

  • Technical training and ongoing professional development.

  • Career advancement opportunities within a large international organization.

  • The opportunity to help establish and grow a developing field service territory.
