Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support a fast paced employee health clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong phlebotomy skills, excellent patient care abilities, and at least one year of Medical Assistant experience.

Schedule

8 hour shifts scheduled between 7:15 AM and 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome patients and assist with check in and clinic flow
* Obtain and document vital signs and patient medical histories
* Perform blood draws and specimen collection with a high level of proficiency
* Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
* Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient care
* Perform basic clinical testing as directed
* Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
* Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
* Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality requirements
* Provide professional and compassionate support to employees utilizing the clinic
* Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

* Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
* Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
* Strong phlebotomy skills required
* Experience with EPIC preferred
* Strong communication, organization, and technology skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast paced employee health environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent patient care
