A boutique plaintiff-side litigation firm in Sacramento is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support a senior trial attorney handling complex medical malpractice matters.

This is a hands-on role offering meaningful involvement across the full lifecycle of cases in a highly collaborative, close-knit environment.

This well-established plaintiff firm focuses on complex medical malpractice, elder abuse, and serious personal injury matters, including products liability, premises liability, and automobile cases. Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, and trial documents in state and federal court (including motions in limine)
  • Propound and respond to written discovery
  • Manage case calendars, including statutes of limitation, court deadlines, depositions, hearings, and trial dates (Outlook / LawToolBox / MyCase)
  • E-file in state and federal courts
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit management and preparation of trial binders
  • Maintain regular client communication and correspond with opposing counsel
  • Provide administrative support for client meetings, document management, and case organization

Qualifications
  • Prior civil litigation experience required
  • Experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, elder abuse, products liability, or general liability litigation strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume caseload (approximately 60–100 cases)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, trial-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with calendaring and case management software

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary up to $90,000 (DOE)

Schedule & Interview Process
