What you will be doing:
Management of Financial Activities
-
Plan, direct, and coordinate all operational functions related to accounting and finance.

Evaluate current accounting processes, recommend improvements, and implement new procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Define system requirements and collaborate on the enhancement of existing systems to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient financial operations.

Lead the coordination and analysis of financial forecasting and budgeting, making adjustments to ensure accuracy.

Train, supervise, and provide support to finance team members to ensure the effective execution of financial and operational tasks.
Business Partnership & Contribution to Growth

Function as a trusted business partner, working closely with executive team and key stakeholders to provide valuable insights and drive strategic decision-making.

Participate in the evaluation of new business opportunities, contributing to the development of business plans, budgets, and performance assessments.

Collaborate with major suppliers and customers to ensure that financial terms and parameters are acceptable for all contracts and offers.
Risk Management & Compliance

Enhance and maintain internal control systems to safeguard the company’s financial assets and minimize financial risk.

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, including but not limited to, US GAAP and SOX, by establishing and maintaining adequate controls, documentation, and approvals for audits.

Ensure financial systems and controls pass independent and government audits.

Keep up to date with regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
Leadership & Team Support

Provide leadership to the local Finance team, ensuring they have the support and guidance needed to succeed.

Create a flexible work environment while maintaining a high standard of accountability.

Foster an independent work culture where team members operate within the framework set by leadership, without micromanagement.

Ensure clarity in communications with the ability to influence and motivate colleagues and staff to achieve team and company goals.
What you must have:
-
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, with a CPA (CA) designation required.

Minimum of 7 - 10+ years of progressive experience in a similar role, ideally in a multi-location manufacturing environment.

Experience operating under US GAAP and familiarity with SOX compliance requirements.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify key issues and implement effective solutions.

Expertise in financial systems, integrated IT platforms, and various analytical tools, including Power BI for regular and ad-hoc reporting.

Proven experience with SAP financial systems is essential.

A hands-on approach to supporting operational activities and a willingness to engage in day-to-day operations.

High degree of rigor, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Proven leadership and ability to guide and motivate a team toward achieving common financial goals.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.

Salary/Rate Range: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00
