What you will be doing:

  •  Apply change management (CM) principles, a structured CM approach, and CM best practices to this Budget Management Transformation project, within the context of a broader organizational transformation

  • Develop tailored CM strategies and tactics based on a situational awareness, details of the change and change impacts

  • Support Organizational Leaders/People Managers to build commitment and acceptance of organizational changes through the effective execution of change plans

  • Stakeholder engagement: Engage stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations. Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams and stakeholders.

  • Training and Development: Work closely with Leadership & Learning and the assigned resource(s) to enable training content to enhance financial literacy and ensure smooth adoption of new budget management practices.

  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on the progress of change management activities. Provide regular updates to the Change Lead, Project Manager, Steering Committee, and other key stakeholders.

  • Evaluation: Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess and improve the effectiveness of change management efforts.


What you musy have:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in change management, preferably in large, complex environments. Experience in public sector finance and financial systems is an asset

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Organizational Development, or a related field. Change management certification (e.g., Prosci) is preferred.

  • Experience in creating change management plans, risk assessments, communication planning, tracking and managing change management progress, tracking issues, and managing training

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross functional teams

  • Deals comfortably with senior management and can present and converse with people in positions of authority

  • Good judgment and the capacity to independently evaluate situations and identify the optimum course of action

  • Results-oriented with strong people and time management skills, highly organized, motivated, and driven to succeed

  • Experience building meaningful relationships with the team, other internal departments, and vendors

  • Must have an adaptable change management style to overcome unexpected challenges during the project

  • Must be able to manage conflicts amongst
