What you will be doing:

• Lead the company's financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making.

• Oversee the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with relevant standards.

• Drive budget-to-actual reporting, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP by researching and documenting accounting treatments for complex transactions. Develop and maintain accounting policies and prepare technical accounting memos to support financial reporting and audits.

• Establish and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.

• Implement and enhance internal controls, financial policies, and best practices to improve efficiency and risk management. Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

• Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, assisting with key financial projects and initiatives as needed.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support business objectives.

• Build relationships across the organization, proactively seeking out opportunities to improve processes and provide financial guidance.

What you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of overseeing accounting functions and managing budgets.

• Experience working in or with technology companies is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, and best practices; solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting. Prior experience with U.S. GAAP considered an asset.
