Overview:
We are seeking a senior-level Business Analyst to support multiple mission-critical projects focused on improving student outcomes, with a key focus on the Early Childhood Integrated Data System project. This role includes both advanced business analysis and user experience (UX) design to ensure intuitive, impactful end-user interactions. You’ll work closely with product teams and stakeholders across the full SDLC, serving as a vital bridge between business needs and development execution.


What you will be doing:

• Elicit detailed requirements through stakeholder interviews and translate into comprehensive system requirements.

• Design mockups/wireframes aligned with UX best practices and agency design standards.

• Lead business process re-engineering efforts and document software process improvements.

• Develop user stories and use cases that align with business analysis best practices.

• Facilitate meetings, requirement reviews, and presentations for cross-functional teams.

• Participate across all stages of the software development lifecycle including enhancements post-launch.

What you must have:

• 8+ years of experience eliciting and writing system requirements.

• 8+ years of SDLC experience and business process improvement.

• 8+ years developing use cases and user stories.

• 8+ years of UX-focused design using mockups or wireframes.

• 5+ years of strong communication, facilitation, and writing skills.

Nice to have:

• 3+ years using Modern Requirements and Atlassian Jira.

• 2+ years experience with education agencies.

• 1+ year experience with the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program.
