Overview:
Our client is looking for individuals who are reliable, will conduct themselves in a professional manner, will actively work to improve all aspects of the Sales Department and will always deliver exceptional customer service to our customers and other team members. This role is also an excellent opportunity to learn both the technical and sales sides of the business and ultimately prepare yourself to move into a future sales position (Either inside or outside sales). As a Sales Coordinator, your primary focus will be to interact with customers, other departments and sales representatives to streamline the sales process. This will involve communicating with our customers to keep them up to date on the sales process, provide information to them during the quoting stage or simply put them in contact with the appropriate sales representative. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator will liaise with other departments to ensure that delivery timelines are met and will work hard to keep the customer informed throughout the process. Your goal should be to deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction with the customer. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and publishing Social Media content for multiple platforms and assisting with marketing campaign roll-outs.
Your effectiveness will be measured by your ability to meet or exceed KPI’s and objectives set out at the beginning of each fiscal year.


What you will be doing:

  • Being the main point of contact for customers during the sales process

  • Communicate updates and delivery timeline changes to customers

  • Liaise with the Service Department to ensure delivery timelines are met

  • Prepare quotations for sales reps

  • Update company CRM based on interactions with customers

  • Create work orders and invoice work orders upon completion

  • Create, track and receive equipment orders

  • Assist in the management of equipment inventory including inventory counts

  • Occasionally work outdoors in order to verify equipment serial numbers as part of the receiving process

  • Social Media development & management

  • Assist with marketing campaigns

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Clear and professional communication skills (written & verbal).

  • Confident using office and CRM systems; able to learn internal tools quickly.

  • Prior experience in sales coordination, inside sales, or dealership administration (vehicle, truck, or equipment).

  • Industry background: ideally from one of the following environments:

     

  • Major OEM Car Dealerships: Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Acura, Nissan, BMW, Mercedes, Ford, Audi

  • Major Equipment / Heavy-Duty OEM Dealerships: Brandt, Great West Equipment, Inland, Peterbilt Pacific, Douglas Lake Equipment, Avenue Machinery, Velocity, Finning


Salary/Rate Range: $62,400.00 - $72,800.00
