Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP S/4HANA Deployment Project Manager for an immediate 6-month contract engagement to support a major ERP transformation within a medical devices supply chain environment. This role is ideally suited for a project manager who has led deployment activities in complex Life Sciences settings and understands the rigor required in regulated supply chain operations. The successful candidate will bring proven experience across the solution design, confirmation, build, and development lifecycle of SAP S/4HANA implementations, with particular strength in Order to Cash and its connected supply chain processes, including Source, Make, Logistics, Deliver, and Quality. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role requiring a candidate who is highly articulate, self-directed, execution-focused, and comfortable operating across business and technology teams.

What you will be doing:

• Lead deployment planning and execution for an SAP S/4HANA implementation within a medical devices supply chain organization.

• Manage all aspects of deployment delivery, including project planning, milestone management, dependencies, RAID tracking, issue escalation, and stakeholder communications.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, IT, system integrators, and functional workstreams to ensure alignment and deployment readiness.

• Drive execution across key phases of the implementation lifecycle, including solution design, confirmation, build, testing, cutover readiness, go-live preparation, and hypercare support.

• Partner closely with functional and business leads supporting Order to Cash and related supply chain domains such as Source, Make, Logistics, Deliver, and Quality.

• Ensure deployment activities are fully integrated with testing, data readiness, training, change management, business readiness, and operational transition planning.

• Facilitate governance meetings and provide clear, concise, executive-ready status reporting.

• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and drive timely resolution.

• Maintain delivery discipline in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality execution and accountability across teams.

What you must have:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager supporting SAP S/4HANA deployments.

• Strong understanding of solution design, confirmation, and development cycles within SAP S/4HANA implementation programs.

• Experience in Life Sciences supply chain environments, preferably within medical devices or other regulated industries.

• Practical experience supporting Order to Cash implementations and associated end-to-end supply chain processes, including Source, Make, Logistics, Deliver, and Quality.

• Minimum of 1-2 full SAP S/4HANA deployments completed successfully.

• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional deployment activities in complex enterprise environments.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and delivery teams.

• Highly driven, organized, and capable of working autonomously with limited oversight.

Nice to have:

• Experience within regulated manufacturing, distribution, or global supply chain operations.

• Familiarity with cutover planning, hyper-care readiness, and deployment governance.

• Experience working within large, matrixed transformation programs involving multiple vendors and stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of ERP integration points across the supply chain and operational processes.
