Job Opportunity for Attorney with Boutique Established Firm in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

The position:

• The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in economic development, corporate governance, and business transactions
• The work is focused on transactional matters in advising tribal governments and tribally owned business
• Support economic development initiatives and regulatory matters
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements
• Providing outside general counsel services
• The role offers dedicated legal support

• While experience representing Indian tribes, tribal entities, or businesses is preferred, candidates without prior experience in this field of law, but with an interest in working in this area of law will be considered
• 2-5+ years of experience preferred
• Active bar membership (South Dakota preferred; will consider candidates willing to become admitted)
• Strong writing, research, and communication skill
• Some travel may be required

• This role supports a mission-driven work environment, and work life balance with a low annual billable requirement of 1764
• Compensation is $85k-115k DOE + bonuses
