What you will be doing:
Production Support
-
Act as the first line of contact for the production environment (L1/L2 functional and technical support).

Coordinate with L3, Development, and Infrastructure teams regarding recurring production issues, root cause analysis, and resolution.

Proactively monitor and manage the availability/performance of production environments, application layers, middleware, and databases.

Monitor application components and data flow; act proactively to prevent crashes, data issues, or performance bottlenecks.

Ensure incidents are logged in the management system on time with relevant details (outage info, root cause, downtime, dependencies, executive summary).

Liaise with upstream/downstream support teams to ensure timely data flow and issue resolution.

Contribute to projects related to updates, upgrades, obsolescence, and vulnerabilities.

Maintain and create procedure/process documentation.
Release, Maintenance, and Projects:

Participate in release cycles for functional validation on staging, pre-production, and production environments.

Execute release deployments, post-release checks, and follow-up communications.

Liaise with Development teams to ensure enhancements and bug fixes are prioritized.

Participate in regular DRP and BCP exercises.

Coordinate with Infrastructure teams during server patching/upgrades to ensure application stability.

Execute/coordinate projects related to migrations, application upgrades, and Cloud (IV2).
What you must have:

Experience: 5+ years of Application Production Support (APS) experience in the Banking sector.

Support Level: Proven experience in L1 and L2 support.

Systems: Excellent experience with Windows, UNIX, and Linux.

Databases: Excellent knowledge of Oracle and SQL (primarily for querying).

IT Tools: Working experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow), Autosys, Dynatrace, and Jenkins.

Scripting: Familiarity with Perl, Python, and PowerShell (for automation).

Protocols: Working knowledge of file transfer tools/protocols (CFT, FTP, SFTP).

Assets: Grafana.
