Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Project Delivery Lead to provide overall coordination, governance, and delivery leadership on a complex digital service transformation initiative focused on improving citizen-facing government services. This is a hands-on leadership role in a blended environment that combines structured project governance with agile and iterative delivery practices. You will work closely with business analysts, product owners, policy teams, and digital delivery partners to keep workstreams aligned and drive successful outcomes.

What you will be doing:

• Coordinate project activities across multiple stakeholders and partner organizations

• Lead project planning, issue resolution, risk management, and delivery tracking

• Establish and maintain governance and reporting mechanisms

• Facilitate decision-making and escalation processes

• Ensure alignment between policy, business, operational, and technical workstreams

• Drive completion of project deliverables and milestones

• Prepare and present materials for executive briefings and governance forums

• Support agile or hybrid delivery practices (sprint/iteration planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning)

• Manage dependencies and blockers across teams

• Connect day-to-day delivery progress to executive-level governance and reporting

What you must have:

• Minimum 7 years of project leadership or project management experience

• Proven experience leading multi-stakeholder transformation initiatives

• Strong experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies

• Experience preparing clear executive-level reporting and communications

• Ability to establish practical governance and keep diverse workstreams aligned

• Comfortable operating in agile, hybrid, or blended delivery environments

• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have:

• Experience in public sector or digital government transformation

• Experience supporting cross-organizational governance

• Experience with citizen-facing or life-event service modernization

• Previous experience working with provincial government ministries

Salary/Rate Range: $100.00 -$120.00/hr


Other Information:

• This role will work as part of a small, senior delivery team

• Candidates must be available to start in August 2026

• Strong remote working capability is required (Microsoft Teams)
