Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Wellness Center

Location: Burbank & Culver City, CA
Schedule: 2-3 days per week, plus additional PTO coverage as needed
Contract: Initial 3-month assignment with the possibility of continuing on an as-needed basis

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide clinical and administrative support within busy employee Wellness Centers located in Burbank and Culver City, California.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in both the front and back office, has excellent phlebotomy skills, and provides a high level of patient service. This position requires someone who is dependable, professional, organized, and able to work independently while delivering an excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front and back office support within the Wellness Centers

  • Room patients and prepare them for provider visits

  • Obtain and document vital signs and relevant patient information

  • Perform blood draws and specimen collection with a high level of proficiency

  • Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures as needed

  • Support patient scheduling, check-in, and other front-office functions

  • Accurately document patient information within the electronic medical record

  • Maintain appropriate clinical supplies and ensure patient care areas are clean and prepared

  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, providers, and other team members

  • Work independently while maintaining established clinical and patient-care standards

  • Provide additional coverage for team member PTO as needed

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted California LVN license

  • Previous experience working in a medical office, outpatient clinic, primary care, occupational health, or wellness center preferred

  • Strong front and back office experience

  • Excellent phlebotomy skills

  • Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; Epic experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and confidently manage day-to-day patient care responsibilities

  • Flexibility to work at both the Burbank and Culver City locations

Assignment Details

This is an initial 3-month contract assignment working approximately 2-3 days per week, with opportunities to provide additional coverage for PTO as needed. There may also be an opportunity to continue working on an as-needed/per diem basis following completion of the initial assignment.
