Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) 

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality clinical support in an employee health clinic. The LPN will work closely with healthcare providers and the clinical team to deliver efficient, patient-centered care to employees in a professional outpatient setting.

This position is ideal for an LPN who is comfortable working independently, enjoys building relationships with patients, and has strong clinical and organizational skills.

Schedule

Monday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to employees in an onsite health clinic.

  • Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and presenting concerns.

  • Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures.

  • Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered and within LPN scope of practice.

  • Perform specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and other routine clinical procedures as needed.

  • Support patient triage and communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate provider.

  • Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, preventive health, and follow-up care.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR EPIC).

  • Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and other aspects of patient care as directed.

  • Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and equipment to ensure the clinic is prepared for daily operations.

  • Follow infection-control, safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements.

  • Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive patient experience and continuity of care.

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.

  • Current BLS certification.

  • Previous experience in primary care, family medicine, occupational health, employee health, urgent care, or another outpatient clinical setting preferred.

  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient-care skills.

  • Comfortable working in an employee health environment with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

  • Ability to work the full schedule outlined above.
