Annual Base Salary: $140,000-$200,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
Overview
An established public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead complex tax engagements, advise clients and develop its tax team. This role combines technical review with client ownership and hands-on team leadership.
What you will be doing
- Oversee tax engagements and review work for accuracy and compliance.
- Advise clients on tax planning and research complex federal, state and local tax matters.
- Coach staff and coordinate engagement budgets, resources and deadlines.
- Communicate recommendations to clients and firm leadership.
- Improve tax processes and support team training.
What you bring
- Substantial public accounting tax experience, including engagement and team management.
- Strong technical tax knowledge, analytical judgment and tax-software proficiency.
- Ability to explain complex issues clearly and manage multiple client priorities.
