Relief Veterinarian, Small Animal General Practice
Chesapeake, VA (Hampton Roads) | Relief / part-time, ongoing
A well-established, multi-doctor small animal hospital in Chesapeake is adding relief coverage while it grows its team. We are looking for small animal veterinarians who can cover regular weekdays, recurring days each week, or specific dates around the holidays.
What the role offers
- Choose your days: recurring weekdays or individual dates
- Typical shift 9 am to 5 pm, appointment-based general practice
- Supportive team with experienced doctors on staff
- Competitive hourly relief pay; TEEMA handles credentialing, scheduling and payment
- Option to explore a longer-term or permanent role if it is a fit
What we are looking for
- DVM or VMD with an active Virginia veterinary license (or able to obtain one) and DEA registration
- Comfortable with a full general practice appointment book; routine surgery and dentistry a plus
- Professional liability coverage (or willing to obtain)
